Curiocity Brisbane — Event Collateral Design

Curiocity Brisbane is a festival to celebrate creativity, innovation, science, technology and art in Queensland. Over 17 days, Curiocity Brisbane delivers a program of immersive, interactive and multi-sensory experiences.

More about this project

Curiocity Brisbane is a Brisbane city-wide celebration of science, art, and technology—bringing together curious minds of all ages to explore interactive installations, talks, and workshops. I was engaged to design the event brochure and supporting collateral for their annual festivals, working closely with the organising team to deliver materials that felt as inspiring and imaginative as the event itself.

The brochure was a central piece of communication, serving as both a guide and a creative expression of the event’s identity. Designed to be informative yet playful, the layout featured a mix of artist profiles, maps, program highlights, and event details—brought to life with vibrant colours, dynamic shapes, and clean, contemporary typography. Every page was crafted to spark curiosity while ensuring clear wayfinding for attendees navigating a multi-location festival.

Beyond the brochure, I created a suite of event collateral that included signage, posters, digital graphics, and branded templates. Each piece was designed to be visually cohesive while adapting to a variety of formats—from large-scale outdoor displays to shareable social media assets. The goal was to maintain a unified brand experience that felt bold, engaging, and accessible to a wide audience.

This project was a joy to work on—not only for the creative freedom it allowed but also for the chance to contribute to a truly unique cultural event that champions creativity, innovation, and learning. It required a careful balance of clear communication and artistic flair, and it was exciting to see the designs come to life across the city.

Curiocity Brisbane is all about bringing big ideas into public spaces—and I’m proud to have played a part in shaping how those ideas were seen and experienced.
